Millennial Esports Mobile Gaming Fans can Win Chance to Drive a Formula One Car
GlobeNewswire•April 26, 2018
TORONTO, April 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Millennial Esports Corp. ("Millennial" or the "Company"), (TSX VENTURE:GAME), (MLLLF), a mobile video game publisher focused on Esports and racing, is pleased to announce that it has kicked off its first campaign for its mobile game franchise, Gear.Club, by offering the ultimate gear head experience - the chance to drive an F1 car. This is the first major marketing campaign Millennial Esports has undertaken since closing the purchase of a majority interest in Eden Games in January.
“Providing Gear.Club fans with the chance to drive an F1 car is another example of the groundbreaking strategy we are employing in terms of fusing Esports racing and real world automobile racing,” said Millennial Esports CEO, Alex Igelman. “This is just the start of the visible investment from our group in this game. Development work has been ongoing since we purchased Eden to make the game even better and ready for the increase in downloads we expect to see in the coming months.”
As part of its new marketing approach to encourage gamers to experience Gear.Club, Millennial will offer real world car-related prizes and experiences. In a new breakthrough approach for the mobile racing game industry, downloading the free mobile Gear.Club game could lead to an F1 driving experience, making participation both attractive and extremely easy for both current and new Gear.Club fans.
Gear.Club will open the doors to dream events and prizes for those that download the game and become the fastest drivers in each regular competition. The first competition will feature a semi-final for the six best drivers on the mobile game. These six will be flown to the UK for a day of driving various racing cars. The best of those gamers will then be invited to drive a real F1 car at an actual F1 circuit.
“We designed Gear.Club for the car enthusiast and in the game we see that our players are real fans of car culture,” said Gear.Club creator David Nadal, who believes this initiative will create huge buzz for the game. “Gear.Club now offers them the opportunity to experience that culture in real life.”
“The F1 prize is just the start and builds on our recent announcements of Amazon-fulfilled prizes through GameOn and cash prizes through our live races at the Arena,” says Millennial Esports Chief Marketing Officer, Darren Cox. “Over the coming months we will offer prizes money can’t buy and even real cars, which I’m confident will get millions of new fans downloading our game.”
